Festival Frolics: Danger Mouse, a Gainsbourg, an Allen & more for FIB Heineken.

This year's FIB Heineken just expanded joyously, like an accordion stretching athletically whilst playing out headliners The Prodigy's extensively ecstasy-fueled brilliance on the baking streets of Benicàssim. As if Brit invaders under the banner of alt.indie along the lines of Foals, Klaxons and Hot Chip weren't substantially sufficient, this year's sun-drenched showdown now features a whole host of legendary offspring, unthinkable supergroups and songwriting genii.

Leading the latest additions of summer soundtrack providers, ex-Kinks front man Ray Davies jets over to Spanish shores following last year's triumphant Glastonbury appearance in which he entranced and enthralled an Acoustic Stage packed to the rafters. Super producer-turned-supergroup catalyst Danger Mouse teams up with The Shins' James Mercer to clang out Broken Bells around the heated concrete of this year's FIB Heineken, Joy Division bassist Peter Hook brings his Haçienda Night to the Mediterranean and a couple of divine daughters of our indie heritage, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lily Allen book evening slots amidst the breezy hedonism of Benicàssim. And then Spain's greatest musical export since Julio Iglesias, Love Of Lesbian, complete the latest collection of newly announced acts.

This year's FIB Heineken line up now takes in:
