Festival Frolics: Four Tet & Aphex Twin Added to the Bloc Weekend Party.

Around eighteen months back, Dots & Dashes rolled and writhed about Butlins, Minehead all in aid of a gloriously hedonistic weekend revolving around water slide carpet burns, enough noodles to sustain Soho for half a calendar month, and a new-found arcadia obsession. That year Aphex Twin mangled many a chromosome with his AV set, spliced together with autopsy visuals. And today it's been announced that Richard D. James is to return to the tarpaulin of Britain's most archaic adventure (or misadventure) park for this year's Bloc Weekend. Already boasting a formidable line up to quite literally lose your mind to, Four Tet, Toddla T and Mary Anne Hobbs also feature amongst new additions, added to the likes of minimal brilliance from Black Devil Disco Club, French virtual barnstormer Vitalic, Claude VonStroke, Beardyman and Dots & Dashes fave Joy Orbison.

The full line up thus far is as follows:

Aphex Twin (AV Set) * LFO * Moderat * Vitalic * Visionquest feat. Seth Troxler * Four Tet * Claude VonStroke * Joy Orbison * Mala (Digital Mystikz) * Beardyman * Dopplereffekt * Black Devil Disco Club * Speedy J * Drop The Lime * Toddla T * Mary Anne Hobbs * Venetian Snares * Overkill * mulletover * King Midas Sound * L-Vis 1990 * dOP * Floating Points * Pinch * Daedelus * Shackleton * Soul Clap * Loefah * DJ Pete * Will Saul * SDC * Addison Groove * Roska * Jimmy Edgar * Al Tourette's * Alva Noto * Global Goon * Legowelt * Orgue Electronique * Mark II [Altern-8] * Subloaded * Placid * Resident Advisor * AGT Rave Cru * Gemmy * Guido * Untold * B12 * Posthuman * I Love Acid * Bodyhammer.
