Metronomy head honcho Joe Mount promised a more "groovy" tinge to proceedings on forthcoming sophomore LP proper, The English Riviera, out early in the new year. Zane Lowe dished out lead single from the record, She Wants this week, warbling and waxing lyrical over the opening few bars of this radio rip. Inane wittering aside, She Wants is pretty much one of the tracks of this year just too late to feature on the endless slew of end of year lists wandering t'internet as of now. But then there's always next year and whatnot... A rather more unpolluted version will be available for download from
Metronomy's official site on 31st January. Hopefully this rip will tide you over 'til then...
