Festival Frolics: Escaping Great to Brighton.

Returning to the pebbled seafronts of Brighton from the 12th-14th of May, this year's The Great Escape already looks to preempt excellently the segueing festival season, with the likes of Warpaint, Twin Shadow and Brother all signed on the dotted line for shows across and throughout the city. Returning to the fray for 2011 are St. Albans' disco firecrackers Friendly Fires to headline the three-day city shindig, whilst Peckham pop stalwart Katy B joins the line up. Elsewhere, Dots & Dashes faves Little Dragon, Nedry, SBTRKT, Vision Of Trees, Seams and The Heartbreaks all join the bill.

The full line up thus far looks something like:

Friendly Fires * Katy B * Warpaint * Villagers * Twin Shadow * Brother * Little Dragon * D/R/U/G/S * Becoming Real * PVT * Dutch Uncles * Tribes * SBTRKT * The Heartbreaks * Spark * Nedry * Worriedaboutsatan * Big Deal * The Soft Moon * Teeth * Marques Toliver * Tripwires * Lucy Swann * Vision of Trees * Seams * The Holidays * The Jezabels * Said the Whale * Team Me * Bonjay * Deep Sea Arcade * Seekae * The Mountain and the Trees * Winter Gloves * DZ Deathrays * Woodhands * gaBLe

Super early bird three-day passes are now available for the unfathomably economical price of £35 (price valid until 15th of February when it is set to increase by £10), whilst tickets for Friendly Fires' headlining show in the Dome are priced at £18.50 or £6 on top of a festival wristband.
