Festival Frolics: ATP Round-up.

Becoming a forever more valid alternative to a weekend away getting deep down and dirty on mudded farms the length of the UK, the inaugural I'll Be Your Mirror, curated by Portishead and lovingly established by ATP, as previously announced already features the likes of DOOM, Beach House, Liars, and The Books amongst others. And now, ahead of the February 14th release of her eighth solo LP Let England Shake, PJ Harvey has been announced as Saturday's very special guest, alongside Toronto experimentalists (emphasis on the last three syllables and recently signed in the UK to Geoff Barrow's Invada Records) DD/MM/YYYY, whilst London doom mongrels S.C.U.M. have been added to Sunday's line up.

The line up now looks a little like this:

Saturday, 23rd July
Portishead
PJ Harvey
DOOM
Company Flow
The Books
Factory Floor
Beak>
DD/MM/YYYY

Sunday, 24th July
Portishead
Grinderman
Swans
Beach House
Liars
The Passion Of Joan Of Arc
Anika
S.C.U.M.

More info can be found here courtesy of ATP, whilst tickets are available now. All early birds have now caught their worms.

In other ATP-related news, this summer's one and only Butlins bender, curated by ambient noiseniks Animal Collective has been bolstered by the likes of hip hop Outkast-turned-Shutterbugg Big Boi, the chameleonic looped brilliance of ATP vet Bradford Cox' solo side project Atlas Sound and dream-disco duo Teengirl Fantasy.

The full line up thus far now looks something like:

Animal Collective * Big Boi * Gang Gang Dance * Lee Scratch Perry * Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti * Atlas Sound * Broadcast * Black Dice * Meat Puttpets performing Up On The Sun * The Frogs performing It's Only Right & Natural * IUD * Terry Riley * Omar-S * Prince Rama * Spectrum * Dent May * Group Doueh * The Brothers Unconnected * Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 * Micachu & the Shapes * The Entrance Band * Orthrelm (Mick Barr) * Tickley Feather * Drawlings * Teengirl Fantasy * Kria Brekkan * Eric Copeland (Black Dice) * Sublime Frequencies DJs + Films * Deradoorian * Zomby * Vladislav Delay

For further info, tickets etc. (further 2 and 3 berth chalets have been released today), here's your best bet.
