Were bands composed of Play Doh, mushed, mashed and mangled into different forms intermittently, north London shoegazer types Yuck would be a similar hue to Cajun Dance Party, emerging phoenix-like from the ashes of the 'next untouchables'. The vid to forthcoming single Holing Out already looks pretty damn timeless, like a pastiche take on Let The Right One In via ATP TV and various illicit substances. Their eponymous debut LP drops 21st February and already looks like being one of the records of the year. It's nigh on faultless and will be reviewed right here, right later. They then play SXSW, Primavera Sound and a few UK dates later this month.
