Having practically broken the internet this evening, the long-awaited return of The Strokes, namely the overly jaunty, if slightly underwhelming Under Cover Of Darkness is upon us. Distinctly redolent of This Is It, even above the humdrum hubbub of ITV Football coverage the New Yoikers seemingly aesthetically lodged perpetually way back when in 2003 sound pretty damn distinct. The rewards for half an hour bashing refresh probably weren't as sweet as grabbing Glastonbury tickets, but those dual guitars still sound sweeter than sugar.
