Festival Frolics: El Paso to Stevenage, Sonisphere.

As you may or may not have garnered from the above title, this year's Sonisphere just got a radical enhancement, primarily due to the announcement that progged-out Texan behemoths The Mars Volta are to play this year's festival as a UK exclusive, joining the likes of Weezer, Gallows and headliners Biffy Clyro on the Saturday, in the wake of Friday and The Big 4. Taking place from July 8th-10th, other new additions to the bill include a welcome return to Knebworth for cult figureheads Killing Joke, whilst Opeth and Four Year Strong have also been roped in for the ride. Sunday meanwhile features Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Motörhead and Mastodon.
