Breaking the Duck, Abbey Road Debuts.

Last week we crossed that particular zebra crossing to that particular wall plastered in largely illegible scribbles to those particular legendary studios. It was something of an honour to breeze through the Abbey Road Studios reception where behind heavily soundproofed doors, the perpetually sumptuous Lower Dens and later a newly concocted SBTRKT live show were committed to the studios' famed reels. Abbey Road Debuts is set for its TV debut this week, with a Mount Kimbie session airing April 6th. A little while back we quizzed host Tom Ravenscroft on the whole shebang. Results can be read here, whilst a sublime recording of Before I Moved Off from Mount Kimbie's stint streams right here, right now.

Over the coming weeks, further sets will be broadcast from the likes of exuberant Oxford bunch Trophy Wife, Danish bunyans Treefight For Sunlight, Lower Dens, SBTRKT and Dots & Dashes faves Crystal Fighters. Going out on April 20th, here's a mellow take on Plage from the latter.
