Heavens Below, Wet Nuns Above.

Of course it's all too easy to blast blogs for a plethora of reasons. Rawkblog published these guidelines over the weekend, and they're pretty informative and indeed essential to the relevance of the whole shebang. However it's a rarity that a PR company is willing to work on an artist for nothing as most blogs do. That's where Oh! Inverted World come in, as they sided with Sheffield's 'death-blues' duo Wet Nuns for the scant payment of a t-shirt and a beer promised on the never-never. It's as refreshing an approach as the yowling and humbucker howling of Heavens Below is magnificently savage, a guttural, abrasion-girded romp that is to be unleashed as a free download on November 11th. However here's Arctic Monkey Matt Helders giving it a bicep-pounding redux. Aptly, with words relevant to Death From Above already employed within the context of this blurb, the remix is highly reminiscent of much MSTRKRFT outpouring, gravelled shrieks rattled and thumped like a defenceless punchbag by muscular synths.
