Last month we frothed and foamed over the return of Animal Collective's ukulele-toting, prim and overtly proper bud Dent May. That was Fun and rather aptly, this lead single off of forthcoming Paw Tracks release Do Things (expected June 11th), goes by the amicable designation of Best Friend. It sees May continue to pair his gawky croon off with glimmering disco leanings, grinding up against post-Beegees comparisons in a manner as seductive as feasible given such a compromising scenario. Lyrically it's sweeter still as May avows: "You and me is never gonna end/ Because you're my best friend, honey, still my best friend." Aw.
