Proactively creative (and now evidently procreational) couple Peaking Lights swore that baby Mikko would feature on forthcoming long-player Lucifer (out June 18th via Domino imprint Weird World) and lo and behold LO HI, the first single from the record, features the dulcet gurgles of their son! Other than that the track takes very few steps away from the dub-pop propensities of 936, with Indra Dunis' vox enshrouded as ever by a thick fog of reverb and Aaron Coyes' slinky bass lines and spindly guitars remaining veritably seductive. However when the breakthrough brought such muggy warmth to the lives of many, little to no deviation requites the love demonstrated toward the duo and with Lucifer comes life anew. Thus as the Amazonian pipes dwindle to fade, affections are to be considered wickedly rekindled.
