ta muchly, Wikipedia) nowt none too inspired seems to have seeped outta Boise of late, nor indeed ever. Such narrow-minded, largely misinformed illation, twinned with my steadfast dislike for Trevor Powers' Youth Lagoon lulling and distaste for huckleberry shake pretty well subjectively renders
LERK about the best cultural output Boise has to offer. Thus whoever lurks behind the moniker may be framed up alongside Built to Spill's Brett Nelson as a cultural ambassador for the place in my shortsighted blinkers. Anyhow, if Soundcloud chronology be anything to go by this one, entitled Creation, was once an opening gambit and as intros go it's awful accomplished: those calming plonks off The Beach Boys' Wouldn't It Be Nice daubed with aqueous droplets of churned warble and pushed through five minutes by tidily timed drops we're not only fully submerged in, but swept away by this one...
