On the Horizon: Respawned, Human Behaviour.

Remember Nick Burk? The Memphis psych who once hid behind the Acid Glasses nom de plume, and got refused entry to the UK on the grounds of an invalid Visa a year or so ago? Well, he's back with some commensurately messy lo-fi and a new moniker to match. Respawned, Burk is now Human Behaviour, and he has adopted a somewhat more direct aesthetic in the interim. Wasting Away sounds thoroughly pained lyrically, and repetitive to the point of becoming almost poetic musically. Metronomic as the ominous ticking of an archaic timepiece, it's a joy to have Burk's work, if not he himself, back in the country at long last.
