Tomorrow evening, Daniel Snaith, aka Caribou (or Manitoba if you were spinning his hazy retro electro before blogs were even vaguely conceivable) plays Milan's Circolo Magnolia, a delightful partially solar-powered venue shrouded in the breed of forestry in which Snaith's ecstatic latest long player Swim would sound as at home as a soggy fern. It's also right next door to Linate airport, making last-minute flights for tomorrow afternoon all the more legit. Alongside Gold Panda, it promises to be a rather special evening. And if Odessa gets reeled out in its expansive glory, the taxi/ trudge home dilemma will become all the more superfluous.
