For a nation not overtly gushing with surfer blood, shark tooth necklaces and board wax, Britain harbours quite an inexplicable infatuation with Brooklyn chiseled poster boys The Drums, their wiry retro guitar lines hooking anyone and everyone from Urban Outfitters rack riflers to the perpetually despicable Fearne Cotton. Thankfully cool-as-Carlisle Danish duo The Raveonettes beef up Let's Go Surfing with a reverb shower and the pristine sheen of a Jazzmaster or two. Surfing suddenly seems a tad more appealing.
