Devil on the Beach, Weir's four-sided extended-play of the same name merely features a Fender Jazzmaster, a concoction of pedals impeccably suited to the mellow tones produced by his chosen plank of wood, and an analogue drum machine, and it instantly pushes the senses deep down into dulcet mellifluousness.
