A slew of remixes and reworkings of the track then grappled with our attention, transporting it far away to wrestle atop the infinite grains of distant sands. First up is a nice and succinct redux from London-based DJ/producer duo STEEP, whose seemingly Aoki-inspired interpretation seeps in and out of the debauched, tidily looped vox perpetuating blips and distinctly Balearic undertones. Having a beach party set to a reasonable BPM in an indeterminate 'sleaze hole' any time in the next twelvemonth? Slap this one on the playlist.
Taking things down a touch with a sedate take are Bristol's Outboxx, whose loose and breezy, somewhat recuperative ebb ought to straighten out any distorted memories and barely recollected misdemeanours occurring at that beach-stationed bash. We'd highly recommend getting all 15.8MB of this one down your wireless (downloads below).
Not so much a grower as one that grows ominously outstandingly over eight minutes is Psychemagik's superlatively crafted, quavering undulation of a mix. Jittering guitars intercede around the midpoint, upraising this glimmering star of a thing to stellar, celestial spheres. The triumph of all Champion Sound remixes, and an astronomically excellent, elevatory effort.
