Filthy Dunes, Dirty Beaches.

Following the release of Alex Zhang Hungtai's debut full-length under his Dirty Beaches moniker late last summer he now returns, doused in drone, to haunt the discerning listener with authentic disquiet. Dune Walker is lifted from a 7" release going by the same name that was released last week and it's a hefting, infectiously clamourous hulk of a thing that clangs wondrously sonorously over five-ish minutes. If the BPMs of Boredoms and Earth were inexplicably aligned and Geoff Barrow, Nick Cave and Angus Andrew were left to scrap over the innumerable frayed ends in order to stitch the beast up it'd maybe sound half as stentorian as this stunning din.
