John Talabot has again teamed up with steadfast accomplice
Pional to produce the glistering Balearia of Braves. A song for the brave and the
buenos to be blared out somewhere around the 22-mile mark, it sounds a little more akin to late '80s Pet Shop Boys (aka Domino Dancing) than
the usual although that makes it in no way less relevant to the contemporary, as detached and aptly breathy vocals are buoyed by a positive throb of soft, house-infected minimalism. Pump it.
