Magical Music Roundabout: Drab, Dank & Dangerous, Teenagersintokyo.

Chances are if you've ever picked up Vice/ Loud & Quiet/ Stool Pigeon etc in the past few months or live east of Holborn, or know any motor mouths in a pair of Cheap Mondays that've picked up Vice/ Loud & Quiet/ Stool Pigeon etc in the past few months or live east of Holborn you'll presumably already be aware of the straight-edged minimal Thom Yorke-stained glories of WORSHIP and/ or the glitzy ice-sheen retroisms of Teenagersintokyo. Where there once was a time all beings endowed with a hunk of male genitalia resented the rotund bass drum basher from CSS being surrounded by all those Brazilian independent women, Teenagersintokyo's Rudy Udovich has an equally enviable role backing up this lot's chilling disco with tinnitus-inducing hi hats and bassy snare blares. Take forthcoming single End It Tonight, released 24th May, shroud it out with warped, murky yelps and fragmented synths courtesy of WORSHIP and things get a little more interesting, offering up the aural impression of a full pelt midnight sprint through muddy ferns in pursuit of civilisation after an imposed woodland exile.
